Habitat
N. a place where a plant, animal or other organism lives and has everything it needs to survive. This includes food, water, shelter and space. Some examples of habitats are oceans, mountains, deserts, grasslands and forests.
This January our Colonia de Vacaciones class is learning a wide range of vocabulary through games and projects pertaining to habitats. By the end of the month they will know the different features of these habitats as well as which animals and plants make their home in each one.
